STIC Talent Mobility Portal

The U.S. – ASEAN Science, Technology, and Innovation Cooperation (STIC) Portal, a cutting-edge platform that empowers learners to upskill and gain valuable expertise in priority areas for the ASEAN region.

Licenses are provided free of charge to all ASEAN nationals (including Timor-Leste).

The courses available in the STIC Portal have been carefully curated and grouped into three learning tracks:

Welcome to the U.S. – ASEAN Science, Technology, and Innovation Cooperation (STIC) Portal, a cutting-edge platform that empowers learners to upskill and gain valuable expertise in priority areas for the ASEAN region. STIC is a partnership between the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of East Asia Pacific Affairs, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Arizona State University (ASU) to strengthen science, technology, and innovation cooperation between the U.S. and Southeast Asian countries.

STIC Science and Technology Track

The Science and Technology Track provides nine curated technical academies empowering you for a customizable learning experience. Whether you want to gain technical skills, explore Cross-Cutting Themes, or practice guided projects. This track will help you gain valuable experience and the skills to excel in your chosen field.

Participants who complete this track will be eligible to submit research concepts for a chance to present at the annual conference and compete for $50,000 in research grants.

STIC Entrepreneurship and Innovation Track

The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Track offers a comprehensive and tailored learning experience with a unique focus on global dynamics in an era of rapid change and disruption. By providing the flexibility to choose courses and skills that align with your interests and goals, you will be equipped with the valuable experience and knowledge to excel in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation.

Participants who complete this track will be eligible to apply for our Online Business Venture Incubator program and participate in our annual Pitch Competition for a chance to win $50,000 in seed funding for technology-based startups.

 

STIC Industry Professional Credentials Track

Earn professional credentials from top companies like AWS, Google, Oracle, and Microsoft to enhance your skills and achieve your career goals with the courses offered on our platform. These courses are designed to keep you up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the industry. Courses cover skills in high demand—for instance cloud computing, AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, and more—providing new career opportunities.

In partnership with Coursera, the STIC Portal provides access to hundreds of upskilling and reskilling courseware developed by top universities in the United States that specifically align with the priority areas identified in the ASEAN Plan of Action on Science, Technology and Innovation
(APASTI 2016-2025).
