Second Symposium on Accelerating Science, Technology, and Circular Innovation in Southeast Asia: Smart Cities Innovation, Biotechnology, and Circularity

The 2024 Symposium on Accelerating Science, Technology, and Circular Innovation in Southeast Asia will be a joint event hosted by the U.S.-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership (USASCP), U.S. ASEAN Science, Technology, and Innovation Cooperation (STIC) Program, and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), harnessing the synergies and networks of three State Department initiatives. The Symposium aims to highlight mutually reinforcing programming by socializing knowledge, program experiences, lessons learned, new ideas, and best practices.

The Symposium is structured in three mutually reinforcing tracks: smart sustainable cities, cooperation in science, technology, and innovation, and circular economy and entrepreneurship. It will bring together public and private sector actors involved in programming across multiple disciplines and urban sectors.
